| About | Patricia A. (Mummey) Gatten, age 67, of Heath, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Medical Center of Newark. She was born May 16, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late James W. and Mary E. (Sigrist) Mummey. Mrs. Gatten was a manager at Jeff's Laundry for nearly 20 years. She was a member of the Church of God at God's Acres. She was a top-notch cook and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Lee Jones of Newark, Michael William Jones of San Antonio, Texas and Robert Dale (Stephanie) Jones of Newark; granddaughter, Kayla Jones of San Antonio, Texas; special grandchildren, Savannah and C.J.; brother, David William (Lu) Mummey of Nashport; sister, Rose Marie Lewis of Newark; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sister Karen Wilks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Eugene Mummey; and brother-in-law, Steven Andrew Lewis. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, at the Church of God at God's Acres, 675 North Cedar Street, Newark, with Brother Roger Decker officiating. Burial will take place in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
