| About | Patricia Ann Baum, 76, of Zanesville, died at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Autumn Health Care. She was born Monday, Nov. 14, 1932, in Zanesville, the daughter of John K. and Mary Elizabeth Bebout. Mrs. Baum was a 1951 graduate of Zanesville High School. She was employed as a receptionist at Pretty Products in Coshocton and was a member of Mental Health Recovery Service Board and a charter member of Family Support Group of Six County. She also was a member of Business and Professional Women (BPW), Senior Citizens, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Elks and a volunteer for charities benefiting mental health. She is survived by one son, John Christopher Baum of Zanesville; a sister-in-law, Mary Sue Baum Slater of Zanesville; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. "Dick" Baum, whom she married Aug. 22, 1953, and who died March 12, 2006. Calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. today, Jan. 23, at The Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave.. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at the funeral home, with Father Pius Pietzyrk officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
