About | Patricia A. MacLaine, 83, formerlyof Zanesville, passed away May 18, 2016 at the Barathaven Alzheimers Special Care Center in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri. Patricia was born in Zanesville on February 8, 1933 the daughter of William and Madolyn (Collins) McCormick. She worked for over 25 years as a secretary at Philo High School and previous to that she worked for the Times Recorder in Zanesville. After her retirement she volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital for over 16 years. She was 1951 graduate of Lash High School, a member of the Lady Elks, a member of the Ya-Ya Girls, a member of the Times Recorder Retirees, a member of the Market Street Baptist Church and most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Patricia is survived by her son Philip (Julie) MacLaine III of Zanesville, her daughters Linda (Dave) Cole of St. Louis, MO and Elizabeth (Tom) Lianez of Zanesville; five grandchildren Jennifer Allen, Ian Cole, Katie Lianez, Kasey MacLaine and Ally MacLaine and her three grandchildren Emily, Hannah and Anthony Cole.In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Philip S. MacLaine Jr. who passed away May 31, 2013; a grandson David Andrew Cole and her two sisters Edna Wilson Pyle and Madolyn McCormick Rose. |
