| About | Patricia “Patty” Ann (Luallen) Huey-Shepherd, 77, formerly of Zanesville, died 7:16 AM, Monday, July 23, 2018, at Galion Memorial Hospital in Galion. She was born Saturday, January 25, 1941, in Zanesville, the daughter of Earl Luallen and Eloise Faye (Latier) Luallen. Patty was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, who devoted herself to her family. She adored her time with her children and her grandchildren and cherished the love and care she gave to them. Patty was a graceful and elegant lady who always presented herself with poise and dignity. She enjoyed having a good time with friends, classmates, and family and was always the life of the party. Patty is survived by three sons: Tim (Tiffany) Huey, Douglas (Sherry) Huey, and Steve (Jennifer) Huey; four step-children: Steve ( Laura) Shephard, Scott (Billie Joe) Shepherd, Laura (Kevin) Gum, and Bruce (Marilyn) Baldwin; eleven grandchildren: Dustin, Andrew, Nathaniel, Mackenzie, James, Michael, Morgan, Mira, Bella, Lia & Ali; six step-grandchildren: Stephanie, Rachel, Joshua, Shawn, Devin and Jagger; Siblings: Bob (Shirley) Luallen and Larry (Ethel) Luallen and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her first husband: Gene Huey who died February 1986; her second husband: David L. Shepherd who died October 2006, and an infant brother: Tommy Luallen. Friends may call Friday, July 27, 2018, from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Mark Douglas officiating. Patty will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
