| About | Patsy A. Shirer (loving wife and mother), 63, of South Zanesville, died at 11:55 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 1997, at her residence following a four year illness with cancer. Born May 6, 1933, in Zanesville, she retired from Harts Family Center and was a member of Grace Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Carl Richard Shirer of the home, whom she married Sept. 11, 1955; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jennie and Jeff Sidwell of Zanesville, and Kellie and Mel Kurtz of South Zanesville; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Tina Shirer of South Zanesville, three sisters, Olive Williams of Columbus, Bessie Hartman of Zanesville and Kay Gonda of Zanesville; one brother, Dick McBride of Zanesville; and 11 grandchildren, Abbie, A.J., Allie, and Annie Sidwell, Cal, Curt, and Caylan Criswell, Emilie and Grace Kurtz, Brock and Meagan Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank R. and Nellie Davis McBride; one sister, Nancy McBride; and one brother, Frank R. McBride Jr. |
