About | Patty Lou Pierce, 80, of Zanesville, died at 8:05 A.M. on Monday, January 4, 2016, at her home. She was born February 19, 1935, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late George and Osa Winter Dearth Krouskoupf. She was a 1953 Lash High School graduate, and worked for the Maysville School District for 13 years. She is survived by her daughter Pippa Pierce of Temecula, CA; nieces, Vicky Krouskoupf Crist of Newark, Leslie Krouskoupf Harlan of Zanesville, and Pam Krouskoupf Melvin of Zanesville; nephew Daniel George Krouskoupf of Zanesville; many great nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law Sandra Pierce Corns of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Pierce, who died June 20, 2013; a son Donald Shawn Pierce; a sister Adaline Krouskoupf Baesel; and two brothers, George Krouskoupf and Louis Krouskoupf. Friends and family may call from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 8, 2016, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Donald and son Shawn at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. |
