| About | Paul D. "David" Jerles, 55, of Zanesville, died at 7:01 am Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 11, 1951, in Zanesville, the son of the late Samuel P. and Martha A. Hulka Jerles. David graduated form Zanesville High School in 1969, attended St. Luke Lutheran Church where he was an Elder, worked for Hart's Department Store in management, was employed as an insurance representative for Rick Luman State Farm Insurance and was a member of Zanesville Athletic Boosters. He enjoyed driving his 1986 Corvette, going to National Trail to watch drag racing and taking vacations. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren and family. Surviving David is his wife of 33 years, Dixie M. Hardy Jerles; sons, Chad R. (Gina) Jerles of Zanesville and Brock D. (Jamie) Jerles of Nashport; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jett, Logan and Lucas Jerles; sister Nancy (Gary) Williams; mother-in-law, Margaret Hardy; sister-in-law, Martha Jerles; brother-in-law, Mike (Cathy) Hardy all of Zanesville; and a niece and several nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and half brother, William Jerles. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery |
