About | Paul R. Ross, 76, of Zanesville, died at 7:30 A.M. Saturday, August 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 8, 1945 in Zanesville, a son of the late Lewis and Sarah Lucille Riggle Ross. He was the co-owner and operator of Ross IGA for 54 years. Paul was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church, active in many masonic bodies, Past Master of LaFayette Lodge # 79, Past Grand Royal Patron of Amaranth, Past Patron of Eastern Star 485, Past Watchman of Shepherds , Rosa Shrine Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem. Paul loved to fish, hunt, and attended all grandchildren’s activities, enjoyed reading and his dogs. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Sharon Richards Ross, whom he married August 15, 1965; daughter, Kimberly (Eric) Baldwin, son, Douglas (Brandi) Ross; grandchildren, Noah Baldwin, Madison (Nick Donohue) Baldwin, Karagan (Beau LaJoie) Ross and Karsan Ross; brother, David (Judy) Ross; brother-in-law, Dale (Mary) Richards and sister-in-law, Carol Richards and an aunt, Nancy Ross. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, James Richards and Robert Richards; a sister-in-law, Roxanne Richards and a nephew, Robert “Rob” Richards. Friends and family may call from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Eastern Star services at 5:30 P.M. followed by Amaranth Services, then Lafayette Lodge # 79 services. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 Maple Avenue, Zanesville with Pastor Anthony Thomas officiating. Friends may call one hour prior. Inurnment will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. |
