Paul Wilson Beaschler, 67 of Zanesville, passed away at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 05, 2010 at his residence following a one year courageous battle with cancer . He was born Friday, September 10, 1943 in Zanesville the son of Roy Howard and Bernice (Barnett) Beaschler. He served in the United States Navy where he became a master electrician, member of the Local IBEW 1105, owned & operated Muskingum Electric Inc. in Zanesville for 35 years. He was an avid Buckeye football fan and a former flat dirt track motorcycle racer and was a local late model dirt track enthusiast having owned a car driven by his son Paul, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his wife of the home, Velma Jean ( Tharp ) Beaschler of 45 years whom he married on Saturday, October 23, 1965; seven children Lee (Felicia) Kepler of Gahanna, Randy (Linda) Kepler, Shelly Curtis Kepler, Paul H. (Donna) Beaschler, Tami (Rick) Rollins, Melissa (Chuck) Norris and Danielle (Chad) Green all of Zanesville. 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and his pet dog “Albieâ€. Preceded in death in addition to his parents were a sister Mary Ruth Parker, a nephew Larry J. Parker and a granddaughter Jessica Rollins. Visitation will be held Wednesday Dec. 8th from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. where funeral services will be held Thursday Dec. 9th at 1:00pm with Pastor Doris Flynn officiating. Military services and presentation of flag will begin immediatley before funeral services at the funeral home. |
