| About | ZANESVILLE - Peter Ayers Gorsuch, 52, of Zanesville, died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center following a long illness. He was born April 13, 1955, in Zanesville to Charles (Barbara) Gorsuch of Zanesville and the late Shirley Digby Gorsuch. Peter loved the outdoors, sports, hunting, and his favorite motorcycle - a Harley Davidson. He was a proud member of the Zanesville High School football team while in high school and received Central Ohio League honors for his hard work and dedication. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. In addition to his father, he is survived by a son, Derek Gorsuch of Zanesville; daughter, Abbey (Joe) Weaver of Delaware; brother, Jeff (Judy) Gorsuch of Whitefish Bay, Wis.; sister, Janet (Tim) Kozak of Pittsburgh, Pa.; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at Bryan and Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Memorial services 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 830 Military Road.
