| About | Phyllis Jean Willard 78, of Zanesville passed away at Riverside Hospital on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. She was born September 25, 1934 in Zanesville the daughter of Ernest L. Paynter Sr. and Jeannette Rose Kokensparger Paynter. She worked at SS Kresge in downtown Zanesville. She enjoyed quilting, crafts and traveling in the U.S. and abroad taking several cruises. She was also a member of the Newark Ski Club. She was the loving mother of Pamela DeGarmo, Sharon (Michael) High, Johnnie (Michael) Gandolfo. Dear sister of Patricia Norris, Sally (Fred) Albrecht, Jane (Don) Untied and June (Bud) Lacy. Cherished grandmother of Sandy DeGarmo and Ian High and special friend Ray McElfresh In addition to her parents Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Ben Hugh Willard and her brothers Ernest L. Paynter Jr. and Donald F. Paynter. The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME 2318 Maple Ave. Where friends may call from 4-8 PM on Friday, January 11, 2013. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 12 at 10 AM with visitation beginning at 9 AM with Rev. Dr. James Miller officiating. Cremation will follow the service. |
