| About | Rebecca D. Gibson, 59, of Zanesville, passed away at Genesis Hospice Morrison House on Sunday, July 18, 2010. She was born October 20, 1950 at Zanesville the daughter of the late Alvin L. and Laverne M. (Randles) Melvin. Rebecca graduated from Zanesville High School and retired from the Zanesville city schools as a kitchen worker. She is survived by a life long friend, Leslie Worden; sons, David E. Gibson II, Michael (Chasity) Gibson; daughter, Ann (Larry) Dean all of Zanesville; brother, Raleigh (Pam) Melvin; sisters, Maxine Melvin, Janice Melvin, Beverly (Albert) Bobb all of Zanesville, Tammy (Walter) Harvey of Indiana; sister in-law, Debbie Melvin and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alvin Melvin; and sister, Mary Melvin. Friend may call from 4-7 Tuesday at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow at Williams Cemetery. |
