About | Rebecca S. Minner, known as “The Biscuit Lady” to all her granddogs passed away June 30, 2021. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio, on July 21, 1947 to Dale and Frances Spargrove. She graduated from Zanesville High School in 1965 and married her High School sweetheart, Gerald Minner, the next year in 1966. Shortly after, they moved to Italy, where they lived for 3 years. Upon return, she worked as an Ohio Bell operator. Then spent 22 years of bookkeeping at Gene Hubbard Auto Service and later retired from Royal Cleaners. She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. She loved hauling a camper on the weekends for a getaway. She had a passion for playing games such as Euchre and Crazy 8’s. She was the Yahtzee queen! She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, Earl and Gladys Spargrove and Ebert and Daisy Hartman. She leaves behind her husband, Gary; two children, Kristi (Mike) Agin of Zanesville and Sean Minner of Arizona; brother, Jim (Dedi) Spargrove; two sisters, Kathy (David) Winland and Cindy (Dan) Bollinger. As per her wishes, no services will be held. |
