Richard L. "Brownie" Brown, 81, of Zanesville, died at 10:20pm Saturday, July 26, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on February 20, 1933, the son of the late Stanley Brown and Mary Burkhart Brown. He was a long time resident of Margate, Florida and enjoyed traveling and golf.He is survived by wife of 39 years, Sheila (Sweeney) Brown of the home; sons, Jay (Connie) Brown, Rod (Carla) Brown; daughter, Kim Sides; step children Ellen Ransom, Kelley Harrison, Andrea Mattingly, Chip Mattingly, Cecilia Pritchard, Angela Balderson; grandchildren Austin Brown, Kyle Brown, Cara Brown, John Sides; step grandchildren Matthew Pritchard, Joshua Balderson, Steven Pritchard, Laurie Pritchard, Kierra Mattingly and Sarah Ransom.The family will receive friends from 6-7pm on Thursday, August 07, 2014 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home with Military Honors conducted by the United States Marines & the local VFW to begin at 7pm followed by a "Celebration of Life" service conducted by family & friends. |
