| About | Richard "Dick" William Pruden Jr., 76, formerly of Zanesville, passed away at 12:16 AM January 5,2024, at West Chester Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born May 11,1947 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Richard W. Pruden Sr. and Dorothy M. (Wuller) Pruden. Beloved husband of Anita (Mullins) Pruden. Loving father of Kimberly (Robert) Adams and Mark Flanigan Jr. Cherished G-pa of Brianna, Cody, Josh, Alexander and Korbyn. Great grandfather of Carter, Mika and Ashton. Brother of Carole (Jim) Sander, Ken (Donna) Pruden and Connie (George) Adams of Zanesville, Bob (Bev) Pruden and Maggie Pruden of Mason Ohio, and Mark Mullins, Daniel Mullins and Randy Mullins. Dick is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Dick was a family-oriented man who loved spending time with his wife , children and grand children. He graduated from Zanesville High School in 1965. He was very proud of his country and served 20 years in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam era, retiring in 1987 as a Master Chief. He had two dogs he loved dearly, named Chief and Sailor. He was preceded in death by Richard Sr. in 1971 and Dorothy in 2014. A visitation was held January 9, 2024 at the Evans Funeral Home with burial at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio |
