| About | Robert “Bob” A. Ritchie, 77 of Zanesville died Thursday morning, August 15, 2024 at his home following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born August 13, 1947 in Marietta Ohio the son of Floyd Ritchie and Amy Altvater Ritchie. Bob attended Coburn United Methodist Church and retired from GE in New Concord when the plant closed. He went on to work and then retired from Zanesville City Schools. He loved spending time with family, especially his granddaughters. He is survived by his wife, Vickie L. Barnhouse Ritchie, a son, Scott (Betsy) Ritchie; a daughter, Amy (Brian) Titus; 3 granddaughters, Kylee Jo (Andrew Paxton) Ritchie, Alicia Ray (Easton Wilcox) Ritchie and Alexa Jean Titus; 3 sisters, Carolyn Pritchard, Marilyn Darr and Roberta Casto. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Roger Lee Ritchie and Ronald Ritchie. Visitation will be 12 noon to 2:00 PM with funeral service at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Raaker officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
