NEWARK: A funeral service celebrating the life of Robert "Bob" Krugel, age 43, of Newark, will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Walter Bruah officiating.Bob passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born April 5, 1971 in Newark to the late Jerry A. and Geraldine Kay (Daniels) Krugel.Bob was a 1989 graduate of Zanesville High School. He attended Columbus State and earned a certificate in Dietary Aid. He began employment while in high school at Sunny View Nursing Home in Zanesville, worked at Utica Care Center and at Pine Kirk Care Center in Kirkersville. Bob collected comic books mainly Superman and Star Trek. He played the lottery passionately and will be remembered as the nicest most caring person one would ever meet.He is survived by three brothers, John Krugel of Newark, Joe Krugel of PA, Ted (Marlena) Krugel of Newark; two sisters, Lisa (Eli) Andrews and Brandi Krugel both of Newark; seven nieces and nephews, Destiny, Koty, Joshua, Eliana, Elisha, Richard and Izabella; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Jacqueline. Friends may call prior to the service on Wednesday, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 59 North Fifth Street. A committal service at Wilson Cemetery will take place at a later date. |
