| About | Robert Bruce 'Bob' Fell Sr. 78 ZANESVILLE - Robert Bruce "Bob" Fell Sr., 78, of Granville, died at 4:01 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, of a heart attack. He was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Zanesville, the son of the late Benjamin Richard and Bonita Crosby Fell. Bob graduated from Zanesville High School in 1947, attended Miami University at Oxford for two years and graduated from the Ohio State University in 1955, where he earned a degree in industrial engineering. He retired as president of the Standard Oil Chemical Co. in Cleveland after 37 years of service. Bob then became president of Global Octane Corp. in Houston, Texas, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zanesville. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and vacations with his family He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Betty Cary Fell; sons, Robert Bruce (Debbie) Fell Jr. of Chapin, N.C., David Anthony (Joyce) Fell of Lima and Benjamin Richard (Barb) Fell II of Cincinnati; twin brother, Bernard J. (Shirley) Fell of Butler, Pa.; brother, Gerald W. (Faith) Fell of Lima; grandchildren, Jaime Fell (Lance) Arnett, Richard Andrew (Jamie) Fell, Chad Robert (Samantha) Fell, Cary Elizabeth Fell, Michael (Michelle) Yeiser, Jennifer McClendon, Adriene Williamson and Acy (Jamie) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Brady Arnett, Maddie Marie Fell, Isabel Yeiser, Jordy and Jada McClendon, Tawanne and Mikey Rodgers, Jayci and Makenzi Jackson; many nieces and nephews; godson, Steven (Connie) Klement, namesake Robert Morrill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James B. Fell. A memorial service, in Bob's honor, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church followed by a reception in the church social hall for a time of fellowship and sharing memories of Bob.
