| About | Robert C. “Bob” Reusch, 89 of Zanesville, died peacefully at 1:10, PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice following a brief illness. He was born February 16, 1927 in Zanesville the son of George & Rose (Kirchner) Reusch. He married V. Jane (Johnson) Reusch on April 27, 1991 and was a faithful and dedicated member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Bob served his country as a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp during WWII. He retired from J.C. Penny’s following 38 years of services. He enjoyed working in his yard, landscaping and growing roses. He enjoyed golf especially with his late brother-in-law: Andy Jacobs. Bob is survived by his wife: Jane Reusch of the home; one son: Robert & Vicki Reusch of Homestead, PA; one daughter: Susan D. Hanley of Minnville, OR; one stepdaughter: Jane Ireland of Austin, TX; four grandchildren: Helen Reusch, Michael Wells, Scott Wells & Nicholas Hanley and three nephews: George Reusch, Dale Reusch & Walter Reusch. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife: Lilly Reusch; two brothers: Walter Reusch & George Reusch, Jr. and one sister: Marie Jacobs. Friends may call from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dan Bell Officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park with VFW Post 1058 and the United States Army conducting Full Military Honors. |
