| About | Robert Edward Cohen, 63, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 2, 2022. He was born April 30, 1958, in Zanesville, OH to Jack and Violet Cohen, of blessed memory. Rob could often be found at the family store, Conrads College Gifts, where he served Buckeye Nation for 50+ years. Rob was always positive and optimistic, even during his courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and pets. Rob had a love for history, especially for Abraham Lincoln. Rob was a loving husband, wonderful father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, as well as a dedicated friend to all who knew him. He was excited to be able to spend time with his best friend and nap buddy; his granddaughter Miriam. Preceded in death by his parents Jack and Violet Cohen, in-laws Ralph and Ruth Rothschild, and brother-in-law Gary Rothschild. Rob is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Naomi; sons Jonathan (Amanda) Cohen, Benjamin (Amy Lecza) Cohen; siblings Bennett (Lauren) Cohen, Sue (David) Bender, Judi (Mark) Koval; brother-in-law Danny Rothschild; granddaughter Miriam Cohen; and many cherished nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the medical team at The James and Zusman Community Hospice for their dedicated and loving care. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11 AM at Temple Beth Shalom, 5089 Johnstown Rd in New Albany with burial to follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery. |
