About | Robert (Bob) French Casner, 85, died Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Riverside Methodist Hospital after an extended illness. Born March 26, 1915, in Dresden, he was the son of the late French L. and Mary Hannah Feagans Casner. Casner was a photographer and owner/operatoer of Art Kraft Studio in Logan for 48 years from 1950 to 1998. A WWII veteran, he served in New Guinea. He was a member of the Logan Kiwanis Club, a life member of Kiwanis International, a member of the Lafayette Masonic Lodge #79 F. & A,M. in Zanesville and a member of Immanul United Methodist Church in Logan. Casner is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Barbara) Lawrenz of Marysville and Sue A Thompson in Logan; six grandchildren; one brother, Ed Casner of Groveport, and one sister, Nancy Vaughan of Pickerington. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeane Annette Casner, in 1995. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio. |
