About | Robert Howard Daugherty, 74, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his residence on August 16, 2021. He was born on February 8, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, son of John Daugherty and Eugenia Devol. Robert worked as a Machinist at Cooper Industries in Mt. Vernon, Ohio for over 30 years. He was known for loving his trains and Mickey Mouse. His children and grandchildren were his everything next to his wife Dorothy. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Worden Daugherty; daughters, Kimberly (Pete) Morgan, Linnette Daugherty-Haught; son, Robert (Emilee) Daugherty; brothers, Donald Daugherty, Victor Daugherty, John Daugherty; sisters, Delores Norton, Mary "Glee" Samon, Joan Wade; grandchildren, Kendra, Carl, Kyle, Aaron, Kelly, Cody, Kristen; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Adebella, Timmy, Zayden, Hunter, and Ziyha Lynn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Daugherty. Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Delong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rick Tanner officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery. |
