| About | ANAHEIM, CA - Robert L. (Bob) Hartmeyer, 80, died March 20, 2009 in Anaheim, California. He was born June 3, 1928 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of Walter Lease Hartmeyer and Mary Hartmeyer. He graduated from Lash High School in 1946 and was a member of the ZHS Band. He attended Hiram College, then graduated from Ohio University in 1950. He was a Lieutenant in the US Navy during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Manchester. He is survived by wife, Vickie L. Hartmeyer; daughters, Michelle Austin, Melinda Schnitker; and three grandchildren; also a twin brother, William Loren Hartmeyer, Zanesville, OH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Foreman Hartmeyer, David Leis Hartmeyer, John Paul Hartmeyer; and a sister, Mary Jane Barnes. |
