About | Robert Lee Todd, 82, of Zanesville, passed away at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House on Monday, March 5, 2012. He was born June 7, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Charles H. Todd and Lela Gutridge Todd. Bob was a plumbing contractor and owner of Todd Plumbing Company for more than 50 years. He was a lifetime member of the Sertoma club, the Zanesville VFW and American Legion, member of Trinity Lutheran Church, an Army veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed golfing at Vista View with friends. He will always be remembered as portraying Ben Franklin during the Zane Trace Commemoration Parade. Bob is survived by his children: Robert L. (Rhonda) Todd II, Daniel L. (Brenda) Todd, Timothy C. Todd, Terri (Craig) Baldwin all of Zanesville, four grandchildren: Robert L. Todd III of Zanesville, Austin C. Todd of Chicago, Stacia Wheeler and Dana Todd both of Zanesville, 2 great grandchildren: Emma Joseph & Wesley Wheeler, Brother William H. Todd of Zanesville, several nieces and nephews and friend: Carolyn Cable of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by Rita Hemmer Todd whom he married on September 11, 1954; she passed away July 15, 2000. Also preceding him in death is his Brother Charles C. Todd. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday March 10, 2012 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 128 S. 7th St. Zanesville with Rev. Mark Matzke officiating.
