| About | Robert M. Wilson, 84, of Zanesville, died at 6:14 A.M. Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born September 29, 1934, in Zanesville, a son of the late Clair and Janice Derwacter Wilson, Bob was a lifelong truck driver who retired from Gould Battery. He loved to hunt and fish was an avid sports fan, motorcyclist and was the oldest living quarterback for Zanesville High School. Surviving are two daughters, Delaine (Russ) Hill and Julie (Michael) Metzger; two sons, Robert Wilson and Douglas (Ivy) Wilson; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Hughes Wilson, who died July 20, 2009; a granddaughter, Amy Jerles and a brother, Jim Wilson. A Cremation-With – Care has taken place. |
