About | Robert Scott Fields, Jr., 67, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at Genesis Hospital, following a brief illness. Robert was born August 23, 1956 in Zanesville, son of Marva Walker Haliburton and the late Robert Fields, Sr. In addition to his father, Robert is also preceded in death by his sisters, Tina Fields, Patricia Chandler and Tracey Fields. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Marva; his lifelong partner, Tangie, who will always love him; his beloved children who Robert cherished, Alex and Clarissa Fields, Lindsay Fields and Summer Palmer; his beloved grandchildren, DeAndre, Kiara, Maleah, Jaiden, Kya, Kayana and Honesty; one great-grandchild, Aries; siblings, Mark and Erin Walker, Starla Fields, Marla Fields, Dan and Nanette Fields, Gerry Fields, Kristie Fields and Tara Harris; many nieces and nephews whom Robert loved; and a host of other relatives and many friends. Robert was a United States Veteran, having served in the US Army in Kentucky. He was a hardworking man who loved his family. While in the hospital, Robert listened to 'Let's Stay Together' by Al Green, reminding his family that he loved them in good times and bad, happy times and sad. Robert was a beloved son, father, partner and friend. He is sure to be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. "...With God all things are possible."
