About | Robert T. Wright Sr., 66, of 892 Brighton Blvd., died at 11:05 am Thursday, July 13, 1995, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Witght was born February 2, 1929, in Zanesville. He was the retired director of the business office at Good Smaritan Medical Center and prior to that worked at the old Mosaic Tile Company. He was well known years ago as a local radio singer, "Bobby Wright," who sang on The Kiddies Hour on WHIZ Radio. He was a Methodist by faith and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife, Alice J. Holsky, whom he married December 24, 1948; two sons, Michael K. Wright of Columbus and Robert T. Wright Jr. of Zanesville; two daughters, Kathy A. Watson and Kimberly J. Barclay, both of Zanesville; six grandchildren; a brother, George E Wright of Marion; and a half sister Jennifer Adams of Nashport. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph H. Wright and Mabel V. Acheson Wright. Burial will be in Memorial Park. |
