| About | Roger Seevers, 72 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Friday February 11, 2022 at Adams Lane Care Center of Zanesville. He was born on December 22, 1949, in Zanesville, son of the late Carl Seevers and Hazel Wyatt Seevers. Roger was a graduate of Zanesville High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He later worked for the Zanesville City Schools, as the head custodian. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Eagles. He was always known to be a fun/loving guy. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Seevers; son, Joe (JoLinda) Seevers; sister, Peg Layton, Dorothy (John) Wallace, Gloria Runkle; brothers, Carl (Sharon) Seevers, Bill (Soni) Seevers, Don (Mickey) Seevers, Mike Seevers, Larry Seevers; step-son, Justin Holdcroft; sister-in-law, Linda Seevers; grandchildren, Phenix, Tannim; special babies, Bradien, Evelyn; and many friends and loved ones. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Seevers, Bob Seevers; and step-daughter, Dawn Holdcroft. Per his wishes, a dignified cremation will take place. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville, Ohio with Greg Jadwin officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29. Following services, a meal will be held at The Eagle’s in honor of Roger. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home to help with Roger’s funeral expenses. |
