About | Roger E Cramer, Sr, 73 of Zanesville, died 6:30 AM Friday, March 1, 2013 at his home under the care of Genesis Hospice. He was born Saturday, August 12, 1939 in Zanesville, the son of J E Cramer and Sibyl (Thornton) Cramer. He married Penny Bradshaw on Sunday, July 24, 1960 who survives He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Roger served in the United States Army, Army Reserve and the National Guard. He was the Founder of the Biddy League Football Far East Jets from 1974-1980. Roger was an over the road truck driver and farmer and especially loved his horses. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters: Sylvia (Myron) Brock and Carmen Hoy and Robin (Greg) Scott all of Zanesville; one son: Roger E (Robin) Cramer of Zanesville; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers, Friends may call form 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Hillis Funeral Home 935 Forest Ave. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Hillis Funeral Home with Bishop Bell and Dr. Michael Morgan officiating. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park with VFW Post 1058 conducting Full Military Honors. |
