| About | Ronald I. (Ron) Doss, 54, of Zanesville, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2006, at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1951, in Danville, VA. He was a detective for the Zanesville Police Department for 25 years, an avid bowler, a state tourney softball umpire and an area basketball and football referee. He is survived by his wife, Susan Corder; whom he married October 2, 1971; two sons, Shane Michael (Lisa) Doss, of Cleves, and Jerrod Steven Doss, of Zanesville; one brother Rob (Darla) Doss, of Zanesville; stepfather, Bill Tabler, of Crooksville; two grandchildren, Brandon and Kaitlyn Doss; two grandchildren by love, Kaylee and Cody; nephews Matthew (Nicole), Chad and Devin Miller; Tommy Holdren, Brandon and Terry Corder; Brady Doss and Ryan Fleming; nieces Sarah Holdren and Lindsey Fleming and great niece Nadine Corder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Doss and Edith Hamlet Tabler. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery. |
