| About | SOUTH ZANESVILLE: Ronald Lee Wilkins, 79, of South Zanesville, died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at his home. He was born on January 27, 1933 in Zanesville the son of the late William and Lillie Harper Wilkins. He had been employed at Standard Oil, Essex Wire, Modern Glass & Paint, and Columbia Cement where he retired in 1990 after 31 years as a sales representative. He graduated from Lash High School in 1951. He was a member of Lafayette Lodge F & AM, Amrou Grotto, and South Zanesville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Marlene (Denison) Wilkins of the home; his son Conrad (Jodi) Wilkins and his children Courtney and Taylor; daughter Marleigha (Tom) Burton and her children Jessica and Lauren; son Jon (Tennille) Wilkins and his children Savana, Summer, and Slade; daughter Ranee (Greg) Liedel and her children Malynda and Ralph; two greatgranddaughters; one brother Robert "Nob" Wilkins of Bradenton, FL.; one sister Mary Jayne Popp of Beavercreek, OH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Herman Wilkins. Friends may call from 2-5pm on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Rev. Joy French officiating. |
