| About | Roxanne Clifton McGinnis Fisher, 67 of Zanesville died at 4:22 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the OSU James Cancer Center surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born December 6, 1956 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of James Richard McGinnis and Patricia “Patty” Lou Homman McGinnis. Roxi had a passion for decorating and flowers. Her flowers and garden were a sight to be seen, and her cooking was unmatched. Her best dish will forever be an ongoing debate. #pizza #cheesecake #ranchchicken #subs She was an avid OSU Buckeye and Cincinnati Reds fan. Above all, family was her proudest accomplishment. Although she was an only child, her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law were as close as if they were her own. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, the love of her life Richard “Rick” Fisher, her father James “Jim” McGinnis; her children, Regan (Corry) Hazen, Ali Fisher, Shelli (Evan) Nicholson, Richard “RJ” Fisher; her grandchildren Jaggar (Parhker), Aidan (Natalie), Gavin, Avant, Bub and Caden; great-grandson Grayson and the first girl Fisher in two generations to come in 2025, lots of extended family and friends. Roxi was preceded in death by her mother Patricia, brother-in-law John and several aunts and uncles. As per Roxi’s wishes there will be no calling hours observed. However, a Celebration of Life service will be held on her birthday, December 6, 2024 at 640 Sand Ridge Road, Zanesville, Ohio from 5 pm – 8 pm. |
