| About | SAN DIEGO, CA: Ruth Charlene (Young) Jordan passed away on March 23rd, 2013 at Kaiser Medical Center, San Diego, California. She passed peacefully with her son, Lance Jordan and daughter, Tina (Jordan) Cox, (Troy Cox, husband) at her side. She was the former wife of Bernard (Bernie) Jordan and daughter of the late William R. and Anna L. Young of Zanesville, Ohio. She is also preceded in deathby her in-laws, Lytle Jordan, Edna (Jordan) and Homer Shroyer of Adamsville, Ohio. Ruth was born in Mason, W. Va and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. Ruth was a graduate of Zanesville High School, class of 1961. Ruth and Bernie settled in San Diego, California in 1964. She was a devoted Mother and "Nanner" to many. Ruth is survived by her former husband, Bernie; son, Lance S. and daughter, Tina M. She is also survived by two sisters, Cora Sue Leake and Janet L. Bone, and three brothers, Charles W. (Bill), Raymond E. and Mark A., all from the Zanesville area. A caring cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, Bonita, Calif. 91902. |
