Sandra “Cass” Cassell Jenkins, 74 of Powell died Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was preceded in death by husband, Ronald W. Jenkins, parents, Ballard J. and Florence Cassell; and great-nephew, Aiden Khwaja. She is survived by her daughters, Stacy (Paul) Shirley, of Cincinnati and Krista (Keith) O’Reilly, of Dublin; grandchildren, Maggie and Max Shirley and Hannah and Allison O’Reilly; sister, Glenna Meadows, of Newark; brother-in-law, Duane (Evelyn) Jenkins, of Zanesville; many nieces, nephews and friends. Sandra was a 1960 graduate of Zanesville High School; 1963 graduate of Bethesda School of Nursing; received her Bachelors of Science, Nursing (B.S.N.) from Otterbein College of Nursing and Masters of Science, Nursing (M.S.N.) from The Ohio State University. Sandra spent many years as a Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Rooms of many hospitals retiring from The Ohio State University Hospital in 2000. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, May 4, 2017 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St. (Powell Road), Powell. Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM Friday, May 5, 2017 at BRYAN & HARDWICK FUNERAL HOME, 2318 Maple Avenue, Zanesville, OH where friends may call from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls, OH. |
