About | Sandra Lee “Magic Nana” Hoy, 71, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Genesis Hospital. She was born October 19, 1950, in Zanesville to the late Richard Kyle and Minnie Georgeoff Fenton. She was a graduate of Zanesville High School. Sandra was a Firefighter and EMT for the Roseville Fire Department until her retirement in 2008. She also worked at Brockway Glass. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, woodworking and painting. Surviving are her husband, William “Bill” Hoy, whom she married October 28, 1972; her children: Kimi (Kenneth) Wood and Stephanie (Brian) Carletti; three brothers: Richard Fenton, Charlie (Betsy) Fenton and Clyde (Mary) Soller; four sisters: Mary Ann (Russell) Ford, Sheryl Hardwick, Jody (Sonny) Hood and Jovita (John) Spargrove; brothers in law: Ray (Sheri) Hoy and John (Debbie) Hoy; six grandchildren: Chance Wood, Sondia Wood, Kenny Wood Jr., Kolton Wood, Emily Carletti and Kylee Wood; several nieces and nephews; two special friends: Amista Wolfe and Tasha Pennington; and her Roseville-Crooksville Fire Department family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson Michael Hoy; two sisters: Dottie (Donald) Benjamin and Vicky Orwig; a sister in law Karen Fenton; and brothers in law: Terry Hardwick and Donald Benjamin. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Thursday, August 25, 2022, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will be at 1PM Friday, August 26 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Al Laese officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Roseville. |
