About Sharon Ann Worstall Souder, 56, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:50 am Thursday, November 18, 2004, at Genesis Hospice, Morrison House.

She was born December 18, 1947, in Zanesville, the daughter of Roy B. and Loujuana Roberts worst all of Zanesville. A 1965 Graduate of Zanesville, Sharon received her A.A.B. in secretarial science from Muskingum Area Technical College, a bachelor of arts in English/sociology from Western Michigan University, and her masters in education in secondary education/business education from the University of Missouri. She was also certified professional secretary. Sharon was a professor of computer science at Zane State college for 23 years, where she was awarded as the Outstanding Faculty Member for the 1993-1994 and the 1998-1998 school years. She also served on a variety of committees at Zane State College, and co-authored and had published two college textbooks. She was a member and advisor for Business Professionals of America, which she actively worked on the local, state and national levels. In 1999, she was awarded a lifetime membership by the Ohio Secondary Business Professionals of America. She is a past member of Delta Kappa Gamma (a professional Honorary Society for Women Educators). She was also a member of Rosa Shrine 8 White Shrine of Jerusalem, Chapter 485 of O.E.S., and Zane Court 36 Amaranth.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Fred) McNutt; a granddaughter, Amy McNutt, both of Zanesville; many beloved friends, including Cherie White of Zanesville and David McKay of Gross Point Woods, Michigan.

In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place.
