| About | Sherree Kay DeMent, 46, passed away Sunday July 20, 2003. Sherre was born March 16, 1957, in Zanesville. She was a daughter of Virgina Lentz Koerner of Greenville, SC, and the late Michael Deane DeMent and also was the daughter of Patricia and Robert Payne of Zanesville In addition to her parents, Sherree is survived by her four children, a daughter, Kathleen Romano of Greenville, SC; and sons, John (Michelle) Romano Jr., Ryan (Tracy) Romano, both of Greenville, and Nicholas Romano, Private First Class, U.S. Marine Corps. Sherree is also survived by her stepmother, Donna DeMent; her brother, Shane (Kim) DeMent; her nephew, Cody DeMent; her sister, Kristina (Todd) Hawk; her uncle, Tim DeMent; her aunt, Phyllis DeMent Holzschuher; and her cousins, Mark (Kim) DeMent and Jesse DeMent. In addition to her father, Sherree was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Mildred Lighthizer DeMent; her grandmother, Louise DeMent Ross; her grandfather, Dale DeMent; and her uncle, Deane DeMent. Friends may call from 11 to 1 pm Thursday at William Thompson & son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White cottage. Services will be held at 1pm Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Law officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Union Cemetery. |
