About | Shirley Ann Kramer, 86, of Tampa, FL formerly of Zanesville, died 2:40 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2010 at University Community Hospital, Tampa FL., following a sudden illness. She was born Thursday, August 10, 1924 in Zanesville, the daughter of Walter A. Harsch and Anna (Hoff) Harsch. She married George F. Kramer on Saturday, April 12, 1947 and was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. Shirley was a 1945 Graduate of Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing and served as a Registered Nurse retiring in 1952. She was also a Real Estate Broker for many years. Shirley was a member of Green Thumb Garden Club, Early American Antique Club, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley is survived by one daughter, Ann Kramer and husband Harry Brown of Tampa, FL; two step grandchildren, Beau & Georgia Brown of Tampa; two sisters, Eleanor Calvary of Columbus and Helen Gillogly of Grove City. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George F. Kramer who died January 19, 2008; and her son, John Douglas Kramer who died October 10, 2003. Entombment will be in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
