| About | Shirley Jean Lumpkin, 70, a resident of Conway, Arkansas and formerly, Zanesville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Shirley was born June 1, 1951 in Union City, Tennessee, daughter of the late Charles R. and Sara L. (Turner) Johnson. In addition to her parents, Shirley is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Troy Lumpkin, whom she wed on February 14, 1972, her maternal grandparents, as well as her paternal grandparents. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Tamara R. and Troy R. Lumpkin; her siblings, Melba, Mike, Barry, Jackie, Jeff, Keith and Kelly. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Shirley was a 1969 Zanesville High School graduate. She went on to dedicate years of employment to Essex Wire, Brockway Glass and General Electric. She loved all things and her favorite color was purple. In her free time, Shirley enjoyed cooking and baking. She also enjoyed attending BINGO and playing the lottery. Shirley being the 1st born member of the family will be dearly and deeply missed. You may call on the family Friday, April 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, where Shirley will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Albert. |
