Shirley M. Shipley, 86, of Roseville, was welcomed into Heaven on Tuesday March 21, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She was born on September 15, 1936, in Zanesville, to the late Otto Hampp and Erma Spangler Stevens. Shirley enjoyed playing bingo, reading books, working crossword and word search puzzles, spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids, and eating jellybeans. She was a former employee of PCC Airfoils and held membership with the Crooksville Free Methodist Church. Left to mourn her passing are daughters, Christine (Mike Porter) Harter, Audra (Marc) Wigal, Amy (Roger) Fischer, Esther (Mike) Williams, Pam (Terry) Yost and Penny (Tim) Fletcher; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren and a sister, Arlene Wartman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Pennington; grandson, Heath Bateson, great grandchild, Sadie Fletcher; great-great grandchild, Charli Watts; parents; father of her children, Donald Shipley and special friend, Esther Marie Shipley. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, from 6pm – 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 25, 2023 with Pastor Debbie Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
