About | Stanley L. Amrine, 91,, died at 1:55 pm Thursday ,October 12, 2006, at Cedar Hill Care Center. He was born May 30, 1915, in Zanesville, where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Lash High School and retired from the Muskingum County Welfare Department, where he served as director of the Aid For The Aged Program. Following that, he worked at Central Silica on Market Street for 11 years. He was a lifelong member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and served on Various boards and committees. He was also a World Was II Arm veteran. He is survived by a daughter, Vicki (Tom) Harmer of Powel; one son, Dennis (Kristi) Amrine of Trumbull, Connecticut; grandchildren, Ashli (Bob) Goetzman, Erin Harper, Ryan Harper and Joshua and Grant Amrine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Euphemia James Amrine and wife, Jeanne Amrine, who died in 1997. Burial will be in Memorial Park. |
