About | Starley Eaton passed peacefully in her home in Magnolia, Texas, on February 16, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born in Kokomo, IN on 12/8/1926, the daughter of Elmer Dunlap and Mary Hunter Clossman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, John Eaton, her son Bradley Eaton and her brother Richard Clossman. Her absence from this world will be felt deeply by her children; daughter Starley (Don) Buchanan of Cheshire, CT and their children Starley and David; son David (Carin) Eaton of Sunbury, OH and their children Sean, Tyler, Justin, and Christopher; daughter in law Rosalie Eaton of Winston-Salem, NC and children Rebecca, Jonathan and Jared and many cherished great grandchildren. Starley was raised in Zanesville, Ohio and worked her early years in her father's dry cleaning business, Clossman Dry Cleaners. She was a graduate of Purdue University and met her husband there. They lived in Zanesville and then moved to Marietta, Ohio. In Marietta, she taught at Harmar Elementary School and then was a learning disability teacher at Philips School. In 2008 she moved to The Woodlands, TX. There she was an active member at Faith Bible Church and was involved in many bible studies at Grace School of Theology. Starley started Sewing Seeds, a ministry at Faith Bible Church. Everything this lovely amazing woman did was with passion, passion for Christ and her family. |
