About | Sue L. Vandenbark, 58, of Zanesville, died Saturday morning, April 9, 2011. She was born May 30, 1952 in Zanesville and was the daughter of late Herb Krofft and Evelyn (Scott) Krofft of Zanesville. Sue was a 1970 graduate of ZHS and was a member of the Marching Blue Devils. She was a lifetime member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church and was currently serving as its Youth Director. Sue was also the church's Children's Choir Director for over 30 years. She was a member of the Chancel Choir and the former Sunday School Orchestra. Sue loved to share her gift of music and had also given private piano lessons for many years. She loved to travel and especially to the beach. She also enjoyed reading. Sue was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her mother; Sue is survived by her husband, David Vandenbark, who she married April 28, 1984; daughter, Jenny (Sam) Durfee of Zanesville; step-children, Mike (Gloria) Vandenbark and Michelle (Harry) Ehrnfield of Adamsville; grandchildren, Raegan, Kayla, Tyler, Kristin, Amber, Michael, Megan and Myra; and five great grandchildren. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Central Trinity United Methodist Church where the family will receive guests one hour prior to services. Dr. Steve Fewell and Rev. Tom England will be officiating. Committal services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. |
