Sylvia Joy (Wilson) Stewart, 86 of Fort Myers, FL died on Saturday, July 30, 2022. She was born December 9, 1935, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Harold and Ruth Wilson. She retired from her administrative position with the University of Florida College of Dentistry, in St. Petersburg, FL. She then spent her retirement years in Fort Myers, FL. She loved to travel and read. Surviving are her children Greg (Amy) Stewart of Fairfax, IA, Cheryl (David) Stevens of Florence, KY, Gloria (Rick) Messman of N Fort Myers, FL and Brenda (Mark) Armstrong of Spartanburg, SC. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Esther Wilson, Mary DeMoss and Nancy Hayes Jackson. There will be a private family gathering when she is laid to rest beside her parents and sister Esther Wilson at the Greenwood Cemetery, |
