| About | Sylvia Mae Bordley, 85 of Columbus OH, passed away July 4, 2024, quietly at her home surrounded by loved ones. Sylvia was born November 22, 1938, to Ivory and Ruby (Dalton) Wilson of Zanesville OH. In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Bordley, her brother Robert Stevens, and stepdaughter Phyllis Bordley Epps. Sylvia leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved sister Christine, daughters Carmen (Eddie) Thomas, Debra (Carlos) Smith, Theresa (Ron) Dunbar, Shala (David) Bordley and stepdaughters Esther Patterson and Ruth Bordley. Sylvia also leaves grandchildren Kelvin Jr. Alex, Tia, Devin, Austin, Roberta, Devosha, Jordan, Andre’, Brittany, Rian, Trey, Ty and Christian. In addition, a host of great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, nieces, and nephews. Bonus daughters Phyllis Mack, Nakia Harriston and Laura Staunton, along with Chloe her canine companion. Sylvia loved being with her family and friends. She loved to travel, especially on cruises, going to casinos, just sitting on the porch, and socializing with her Bretton Woods friends, brought Sylvia joy. Loving life and enjoying every moment was Sylvia’s anthem. Never complaining about anything. Sylvia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. |
