| About | Teresa Ann (nee Allen) Adolph, 67, was called home to be with her heavenly Father on May 25, 2024. She was a beloved mother, mommom, sister, aunt, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her unwavering faith in God was central to her life and brought her true joy – joy she kept until the end. Teresa was born on July 22, 1956 to parents, John and Carol Allen. She was born and raised in Zanesville, OH with her brothers, Kenneth and David. She attended Zanesville High School and graduated in 1974. While she eventually relocated to New Jersey as an adult, she brought her love for her Ohio State Buckeyes with her. O-H-I-O. After settling in New Jersey, Teresa joyfully welcomed her daughter, Lindsay, with former husband, James Adolph. She was a loving and devoted mother who was committed to raising her daughter to know and love the Lord. She was a member at Ocean City Baptist Church where she worshiped and served for 37 years. She was a diligent volunteer at Atlantic Christian School for over 15 years serving in many capacities. She was a valued employee at Casa Payroll Service where she enjoyed and appreciated both her coworkers and clients alike. Teresa lived a life marked with humility and service to others. She especially loved children and enjoyed volunteering for AWANA and VBS where she taught kids about the love of Jesus. She valued making others feel loved and cared for, regularly welcoming them into her home and life. Whether it was a warm smile or a good laugh, she would always find a way to share her joy. Teresa joined her parents, John Allen and Carol (Fry) Allen, in heaven. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Lindsay (Barrie, III) Medina and her children, Johanna, Isabella, Anneliese, Evelyn, Caroline, and Barrie, IV. She is also survived by her two brothers, Kenneth (Janet) Allen and his children, Andrew Allen and Emily (Tim) Luallen, and David Allen and his children, Nathaniel (Jessica) Allen and Andrea Allen, and her former husband, James Adolph. A service celebrating Teresa’s life will be held at Ocean City Baptist Church on 10th Street & Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ on Saturday, June 1, 2024, with a calling hour at 10:00 AM and a service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ocean City Baptist Church for missionary support. |
