Thomas Anthony Thome, age 73, of Canal Winchester, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024. He spent over 30 years working for Big Bear and was a United States Army reservist. Tom loved soap box derby, Nascar, bowling, and really all sports, but especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was able to take many trips to Las Vegas and was a fan of Elvis Presley. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Pauline “Polly” Thome, and grandsons Donovan and Wyatt. Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vicky; children Melissa (Brian) Barwick, Candace Bosworth, Michael (Jessica) Thome, Matthew (Lily) Thome, and Christen (Scott) Hysell; grandchildren Britney, Taylor (Mitch), Zachary, Payton, Alexander, Isabella, Caleb, Avery, Jemma, Olivia, and Riley; great-grandson Everett; sister Nancy (Theodore) Lee; many nieces, nephews, and friends. His family will receive friends Saturday from 11-1 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where his service will be at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Sonora, Ohio. |
