About | Thomas Eugene Jackson, 91 of Zanesville Passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born October 24, 1920 in Zanesville, Ohio and raised by his Mother Lela Urban Jackson Starrett and William Starrett. He attended Ohio State for two years and then graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors degree in Journalism. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Tom was the president of T.J. Products, a manufacturer of plastic products for race horses. He was a member of the American Trotters Association. He bred, raised and trained standard bred pacing horses. Tom Married Jean Dysinger on December 19, 1954, in The Little Church Around the Corner in New York City. He was also an active member of the United Church of God. Tom leaves behind his loving wife of 57 Years Jean, 2 sisters Joan Jackson and Janet Daugherty of Mansfield, Ohio and a host of friends. The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME, 2318 Maple Ave., where visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 1 pm until the time of service at 2 pm, with Randy Stiver officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. |
