About Thomas G. “Felix” Kelley, 89, passed away on October 17, 2022, at Genesis Hospital. Felix, as he liked to be called, was born on December 26, 1932, the son of Thomas Frank Kelley and Thelma Dalton Kelley. He graduated from Lash High School and attended Ohio University. He retired as a supervisor from Line Material/McGraw Edison/ Cooper Industries after 40 years of service.

He and his wife Marian enjoyed spending their winters at their condo in the Grenelefe Resort in Haines City, Florida, for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf. He was a founding member of the Zanesville Esquire Club and enjoyed working on the community service projects sponsored by the Esquires. He had fond memories of coaching his sons at the Y-City Baseball League and attending sporting events in support of his children and grandchildren. He worshipped at Greater Apostolic Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved daughter, “Nesie”, his siblings, Charles, Mary and Donna, and a daughter-in-law, Diane Kelley.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Marian, of the home, three sons, Thomas (Roxanne) Kelley of Pickerington, Ohio, Timothy, and Terry(Susan) Kelley of Zanesville, three granddaughters Dorothy Mohler, Erin Robinson, and Erica Kelley, several great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.

Friends may call on the family at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, on Thursday, October 20, from 4-6 pm. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 AM, Friday, October 21, 2022, at Greater Apostolic Church of Christ, 1651 State Street, Zanesville, where services will follow at 11:00 AM, with Elder Terrence Brown officiation. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
