About | Victoria Thompson Baker of Altamonte Spriings, Florida, departed this world on October 11, 2003, at Shands University Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, after complications following a liver transplant. She was born June 5, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to John R. and Shirley Thorne Thompson of Zanesville. Victoria graduated from Zanesville High School in 1968 and then earned a bachelors degree from Ohio State University in Dental Hygiene and Education. She practiced her profession for a few years and then taught dental hygiene to elementary students in the Columbus City Schools. After marriage and children, Vicki became a "stay at home wife and mother" and devoted her life to her family and church. Vicki is survived by her loving husbanc Bob Baker, her son, Zachary Baker of Chigago, her daughters, Jessica Baker of Chigago, and Sarah Baker of the home; parents, brothers, Stephen (Sharon)Thompson of of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jeffrey (Candy) Thompson of Zanesville; a sister, Jana Thompson Fisher of Annapolis,Maryland; and many loving relatives and friends. |
